150 Hour Uptime + Double XP!
Last week’s crash bug fixing bonanza has resulted in a near-record uptime of 150 hours and still going. To celebrate the US Memorial Day and our newfound stability, I’m happy to announce a Double XP day starting now and ending tonight at midnight, EST.

New Zone: The Tower of Kenjin
Somewhere in the southern Calimshan desert a mystery unfolds. Rumors spread like wildfires about an enormous ebon crystal tower (which not a soul can remember ever seeing, or hearing about for that matter) rising high into the skies, yet casting no shadow. Foreigners have been seen exploring the desert, all seeking to discover the mystery of The Tower of Kenjin.
Crash bugs fixed!
Several crash bugs have been fixed. These bugs are the primary reason why the MUD has been crashing lately, so expect some improved stability as a result of these fixes.

Nine New Zones Added

Autocomplete and bugfixes

Autocomplete:
The MUD will now autocomplete player names in the same room as you. For example, you can now type rescue pidi and it will match on Pidibeple if he’s in the same room as you.

Power spells will now maintain the target they were cast on up until the spell is complete. For example, you won’t lose spells when being...
Bugfixes

Furious assault can now be used while mounted
The power version of spells can now be cast while mounted, just like old spells.
Creeping Doom and Rot powers will now automatically target the next available aggressive mob if the original targeted mob dies before the spell is over.

Zone Updates
Dreadmist: Dragging at entry portal bug fixed. Puppet staff enabled.
Ixarkon Prison: Neothelid, faerzress, and dweomer-defender procs revised.

Colors!
Toril now has support for the XTerm 256 color protocol. This means that those of you on supported clients can now see a whole range of new ANSI colors, just as soon as we add some to existing zones and items.

Power Radius updated
Power Radii previously had a hard limit on how many targets they could effect. The Huge radius, for instance, was limited to 8 targets. Now, each radius size can hit a percentage of targets in the room but is guaranteed to hit at least minimum number. Account upgrades
Who says it’s too soon for some upgrades to the Account system? We’ve added a few little perks today:
You no longer need a password to access the storage of another character on your account.
You no longer need a password to access the guild chat of another character on your account.
You can now reorder your accounts in the menu.
Accounts are live
The account system has been added to Toril. See the previous news posts for more details, but here are the highlights:
Single sign-on to access all of your characters
Link and un-link characters to your accounts whenever you want

4 Rounds of Lag
We’ve put in an attempted fix for the infamous 4 rounds of lag bug.

Bronze Citadel Door Fixed
